Honmura Lounge & Archive

Formerly a cooperative supermarket, this building was renovated by architect Ryue Nishizawa to create Honmura Lounge & Archive, leaving the original structure essentially unchanged.

Here visitors can find books and other material by and about the artists and architects who have contributed to Benesse Art Site Naoshima art projects. Related items and books are also sold. Information about the nearby Art House Project is also available, and guides can be arranged.
